Prosecutors Alliance Action Executive Director Cristine Soto DeBerry issued the following statement on today’s decision by Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner to file a civil suit against Elon Musk and his Super PAC to block their giveaway to registered voters:

“We applaud DA Krasner for protecting his community from illegal efforts to influence the election. 

District attorneys play an essential role in ensuring free and fair elections. As we get closer to Election Day, we are certain to see more efforts to intimidate voters and violate election laws. We need elected prosecutors like DA Krasner to be on the frontlines of ensuring a safe and secure election process.”
